On the 31st of July our Freestyle Wrestler Tarik Benhachem (51 Kgs) managed to secure a bronze medal during his participation in the Cadet World Championships in Rome, after losing his first game despite his great performance to the American Wrestler who later went to win the gold medal, Tarik came back through repechage and beat all his opponents (12-1) VSU1 vs Bulgaria and (1-1) VPO1 vs Kazakhstan.
The tournament that was held in Rome was supervised by Mr. Fouad Meskout, Bureau member for the UWW, President of UWW Africa and President of the Royal Moroccan Wrestling Federation as a technical delegate designated by the UWW, who received honors for his stellar job.
